It is an Allegorical figure grouping from the Four Elements entitled "Emblematic of Air, Wind".The Boy has windswept Hair and he is trying to get the Birds into the reticulated Cage. Standing on a Rococo Style, 4-1/2" by 2-1/2" Gold Gilt Base, there is a Bellows nearby, A Tree Branch and a wrapped, flowing Scarf. This very intricate Meissen Statue is about 5 high was originally Modeled by Kaendler. It is marked with what we believe is the 1815 Meissen Mark together with the Blue Crossed Swords and the number "662" or "C66" Hand drawn into the porcelain under the glaze. Overall this Meissen Figurine Group is in Good Condition.
