Two very rare antique German porcelain portrait busts of. Both are wearing a bonnet with a feather and applied flower corsages, on gilt edged scrollwork bases. Both are Children of Louis, Dauphin of France and Maria Josepha of Saxony and died at very young age.
The busts are a tribute to Johann Joachim Kändler who had modelled these porcelain busts in 1753 for Meissen. These busts are not marked but there obvious from high quality and heavy porcelain. To be dated 19th century. In very good condition minor imperfection flower corsage.
