Early 20th Century Meissen Porcelain Figural Group Allegory of Spring
A beautiful figural group by Meissen, 1st choice "Allegory Spring", after the original model by Michel Victor Acier. The marks to base are as follows - Form number F93 (inscribed by hand underglaze), red decorator's number 29, impressed number "63" and underglaze blue sword mark of Meissen. The height of the piece is approx. 16 cm, the base is 12.4cm wide by 9.4cm back to front. The piece appears to be in lovely condition, though there appear to be couple of miniscule nibbles to the petals of one pink rose (the highest on the left in the final photo).
